Nick Coulson

Kitchen Sink, 2023

ACRYLIC ON BOARD
50 × 50 cm
Painting for me is often a case of just problem-solving. I know the content I want to paint, but just need to solve the colour and composition. The idea for this painting started from a photo taken in a friends kitchen. A kitchen that holds many beautiful things, but I was drawn to the simplicity of the taps on this particular morning.
