“I hand build each piece working with both stoneware and earthenware clay bodies. My works are a narration of personalities either viewed through the individual form or as a collective.
I always create to music and am passionate about my pieces embodied with a sense of movement and calmness within each character. Using sgraffito as my mark-making technique, this meditative process gives me a lot of happiness – creating a sense of movement on the cows and patterns on my figures. My anthropomorphic figures hold various collections from the landscape and are intended to be interchangeable, enabling the collector to connect and interact with the piece and have your own conversation by using your treasured finds over the years to come”.
