OIL ON CANVAS BOX FRAMED TASSIE OAK
54 × 80 cm
This painting is based on one of my favourite rural areas just outside my childhood city of Lismore. The combination of gentle undulating hills dotted with large old Fig trees, camphors and cattle, and the dry drought tones is what drew my attention to capturing this scene on canvas.

I’m an artist based in the Northern Rivers region of NSW who loves to paint rural landscapes in oil. Although I have expanded to take on rural landscapes from across Australia, my main focus remains the diverse and picturesque local rural scenes that surround me. My original academic studies were in Agribusiness and Communications however, I later in life, finally returned to my first love of painting, completing a Diploma of Visual Arts from Lismore Tafe in 2019 and have been painting non-stop since.
