Ali Anderson completed a Bachelor of Fine Art from the National Art School, majoring in painting in 2021. Her love of colour was nurtured at the School of Colour and Design and interest in drawing at the Julian Ashton Art School. She moved with her family to Bali and Cambodia for ten years and it was there she developed an interest in South East Asian Art, particularly inspired by the textiles and batiks of Indonesia and the reliefs on the temples in Cambodia.
