My art draws inspiration from native wildflowers, coastlines, waterways and the changing seasons, I create contemporary artworks that honour the deep connection between people, place and culture. Every painting is created with intention, using colour, movement and symbolism to reflect themes of family, belonging, resilience and the relationship with Country.

Storytelling sits at the heart of my practice. While each artwork is uniquely personal, I hope it invites others to slow down, reflect and find their own connection within the landscape.

As both an artist and a mother, creating art is my way of preserving culture, sharing stories and leaving a legacy for future generations. My hope is that each piece brings warmth, conversation and a deeper appreciation of the richness of Aboriginal Art into the homes of those who collect it.

Monique is an emerging Nyoongar artist from Western Australia. Her work reflects her connection to land, culture, family, and the animals and landscapes of Nyoongar Country. Through warm earth tones, fluid movement, and symbolic forms, she shares stories of identity, healing, strength, and women’s spirit.
Each piece she creates holds cultural meaning and is grounded in her heritage and personal journey as a Nyoongar woman and mother.
