I am not the best at finding the right words to write books, but I can visualise and create artwork that tell stories frozen in time. My art originates from my lived experiences and the current social, political and cultural complexities that shape our identities. I take a critical view of how such issues affects humankind and I metaphorically explore the emotions beyond our façade. My artworks are subjective and surreal interpretations, but I find connections with things I see every day, painting the familiar in unfamiliar ways. I predominantly utilise oils as my medium, but my surfaces vary from traditional canvas to made to measure wood to paint contemporary ideas.
