My work utilises Lacan’s theory of desire to explore the inability to distinguish the act of
violence from sexual acts. Moreover, the bodily exertion of painting through scraping
and melding of figures in my work is a reflection of bodily autonomy.
I am a Sydney-based artist completing my Bachelor of Fine Arts at the National Art School. I have shown in multiple artist-run and independent spaces and have curated multiple shows.
