Tender Instinct explores the body as a site of vulnerability, impulse and uncertainty. Two distorted figures occupy an unstable space, their gestures suspended somewhere between connection, dependence and resistance. Their elongated forms suggest bodies responding instinctively rather than rationally.
The vivid pink and yellow contrast with the fragmented geometric background, creating tension between emotional immediacy and an ordered external world. Rather than describing a specific event, the painting leaves the relationship between the figures unresolved, allowing tenderness, discomfort and desire to coexist.
The work reflects my ongoing interest in the contradictions of human behaviour—how vulnerability and strength, intimacy and distance can exist within the same moment.
