A southerly change is my attempt to step beyond traditional landscape and push the boundaries. It is an exploration of negative space, scale, muted tones, and subtle shades of white. It reflects the overlooked moments in the Tasmanian landscape, when cloud overlaps cloud and reflects off the water. The calm before the storm.

My art reflects the changing beauty and fragility of Tasmania’s landscapes. The shifting weather and my connection to the outdoors inspire me. Painting is also a meditative practice for me. It’s where I find calm in nature’s rhythms. I hope my work invites others not just to see the Tasmanian landscape, but to feel its stillness and strength—a space where art and adventure meet.
