Re-enchantment, 2026

OIL ON POLYESTER
80 × 80 cm
$2,200
This is the first painting towards a new body of work that explores the concept of re-enchantment, calling for a return to wonder, and mysticism. This painting is grounded in femininity, and an animistic relationship to nature, hence expressing resistance to the state of our ravaged world by amplifying a symbiotic way of being. With painterly language and an intuitive process of care and repair I use a human figure immersed in the landscape to express our sense of who we are, or who we can be.
