Partly meditative, partly agitated, this work was completed on the only table in our small house, while schooling my three primary aged kids. The flowers were a gift from my sister's garden, a reminder of the importance of connection and a celebration of nature and community – elements that all proved to be crucial as our world shrank. The shadows are indistinct and not quite sensible, referencing the ever-changing light as I stopped and started, time not quite feeling the same.
