Flames make waves! So you better grab on to a floatation device!

This piece comes to you from the heart of my barrel kiln. Made by hand and heart in the middle of Margaret River.

The surface shows tinted terra sigillata and other colours and patterns from organic material wrapped around before firing. The flames and vapours in the kiln are the true hero here. They add charcoal, copper greens and seaweed browns.
