My artistic journey has been driven by an unwavering love for the alchemy of paint, colour, line and composition, which has the power to evoke emotions and set the mood for each piece I create. I find solace in the beauty of everyday life, in ordinary moments and object. Objects which hold memories and in which I discover inspiration.
My aim is to inspire others to pause, reflect and reconnect with the inherent beauty that surrounds us. I hope to ignite a sense of joy, curiosity, and appreciation for the richness of the human experience.
I currently have work hanging at Glyph Gallery in Port Fairy and have been part of Tidelines 1 and 2 exhibitions at the gallery earlier in the year. I have been selected for the Omnia Art prize, the Biblio Art Prize and the Camberwell Art Prize. My work has been invited to show at the Scotch College Biennial Art Show in August and the Flinders Art Show in November.
My works have been bought across Australia, some sold through Bluethumb.
Established in 2021, the National Emerging Art Prize was created to provide an annual, highly visible national platform to identify, promote and support the most promising emerging visual and ceramic artists in Australia.
