This portrait reflects the complex dynamics of family as experienced through my own journey. It speaks to the deep love, unspoken tensions, and silent struggles that shape familial bonds, while also honouring the unwavering resilience and loyalty that hold them together. The work captures the determined strength required to protect, endure, and thrive within the intimate sphere of family, even as the chaos of the external world presses in. Through this piece, I explore both the fragility and enduring power of these connections, where love and determination prevail despite life’s uncertainties.
