In this piece, I explore the theme of collective rest and the unspoken connection between individuals in moments of tranquility. The four heads, peacefully sleeping, are sculpted with the intention of capturing a serene, dreamlike state that transcends individuality. Although each face is distinct, they are united by the shared experience of sleep—a universal act that ties us all together. “Shared Dreams” is a meditation on the quiet bonds we share in our most vulnerable states. The absence of open eyes invites viewers to imagine the inner worlds and dreams of these figures, emphasizing the intimacy and peace found in solitude and community alike. By presenting these four heads together, I hope to evoke a sense of harmony and interconnectedness that speaks to our common humanity.
