OIL AND FOUND OBJECTS ON CANVAS
71 × 101 cm
$2,800
As a Sydney-based artist, I explore the dynamics of contemporary figurative, landscapes, and abstract art. My multidisciplinary approach involves using a range of mediums and surfaces, including oil, acrylic, dry pigments, charcoal, pastel, ink, watercolours and recycled or salvaged materials, to infuse each piece with a unique personality. My latest series places a significant focus on sustainability, regeneration, and the protection of the environment, with a particular emphasis on our oceans. Through this body of work, I delve into themes of environmental consciousness, utilising a diverse range of mediums and techniques to express my emotions and perceptions of the world. Another primary body of work is inspired by our passion for knowledge, entertainment and escape into books. I utilise found objects in these works to give each piece its unique story.

As a Sydney-based artist, I’m passionate about exploring contemporary art through figurative, landscape, and abstract forms. I use a mix of mediums, often incorporating found materials, to give each piece a unique touch. My recent work focuses on sustainability and environmental themes, with one series highlighting the beauty and fragility of oceans and another the passing of time, interior spaces and the charm of books – how the dwindling presence of physical books in our digital age has potential ramifications in restricting access to knowledge and information. Outside the studio, I love teaching drawing workshops across Sydney, sharing my knowledge and nurturing budding artists. I have exhibited at galleries and art fairs across Sydney and Victoria.
